Recently, Chinas first customized home disaster prevention safety pods, which focus on household scenarios, were officially launched. Guided by the concept of customization on demand + full-scenario protection, they provide a new solution for residents  home-based disaster prevention and shelter needs. These safety pods are customized based on the types of disasters prevalent in different regions: they feature reinforced impact-resistant structures for earthquake-prone areas, additional waterproof sealing layers for rain-rich regions, and upgraded high-temperature-resistant materials for areas with frequent fires. Meanwhile, their size and internal configurations can be adjusted according to the number of family members and the spatial layout of the residence. Equipped with modules for emergency oxygen supply, food storage, and communication, the pods meet the basic shelter needs for 72 hours. The R&D team stated that the safety pods have passed disaster prevention and mitigation product testing, and the impact resistance strength of their core components is more than twice the industry standard. Currently, the product has opened for pre-order and will cover areas with high disaster prevention needs. A community-shared version will also be launched in the future to help improve the grassroots emergency shelter system. Industry insiders pointed out that the launch of customized safety pods marks the transformation of home disaster prevention products from general-purpose to precision-oriented, helping to build a solid safety line of defense for residents.
