Recently, the Emergency Management Bureau of our district, together with multiple departments including fire control and housing and urban-rural development, has carried out special safety inspections on key emergency sites within the jurisdiction, such as schools, communities and shopping malls, to fully safeguard the lives and property of the people. The inspection team focused on checking the material reserves and unobstructed evacuation routes of emergency shelters, as well as the soundness of fire-fighting facilities and the normal operation of emergency lighting. For problems found in some sites, such as unclear emergency signs and debris piled up in escape routes, rectification notices were issued on the spot, requiring rectification within a specified time. Meanwhile, staff also popularized emergency avoidance knowledge to site managers and the public to improve their emergency response capabilities. In the next step, our district will establish a dynamic supervision mechanism for emergency sites, conduct regular return visits to promptly eliminate potential safety hazards, effectively strengthen the safety defense line, and safeguard the lives and property of the people.
