Recently, a batch of innovative underground civil air defense (CAD) project chambers integrated with modular safety pods has officially passed acceptance inspections, marking a new milestone in the construction of urban emergency shelter facilities.

The core of this project lies in the innovative deployment of multiple independently functional safety pods within traditional civil air defense spaces. These pods feature high structural strength, airtight isolation, and self-sustaining internal environment capabilities, enabling effective response to various public emergency risks. In critical situations, they can provide zoned and classified safe spaces for evacuees, achieving refined protection of human lives.

A project leader stated that this initiative combines the macro-protection capabilities of civil air defense projects with the modular shelter advantages of safety pods, significantly enhancing the reliability of emergency facilities and the level of human survival support. It serves as a new model for building a modern urban life safety protection system.
