This city is accelerating the construction of emergency facilities to strengthen the defense line for the safety of lives and property.

Recently, the emergency management department of our city has been accelerating the construction of emergency facilities such as underground shelters, aiming to significantly enhance the city  is ability to handle various emergencies. It is known that these newly-built underground shelters are designed in a modular manner and possess functions such as earthquake resistance, waterproofing, and ventilation. They can provide safe refuge spaces for the public in emergency situations such as earthquakes, floods, and extreme weather.

The project leader explained that the underground shelter is not only equipped with emergency lighting, water supply systems and medical supplies, but also has independent ventilation and air filtration devices to ensure the safety of personnel in complex environments. At the same time, the shelter is interconnected with the cityis emergency command system, enabling it to immediately receive disaster warning information and activate the response mechanism.

Emergency site construction is an important line of defense for safeguarding the lives and property safety of the public. A relevant official from the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau stated that this year, a number of emergency shelters will be newly built or renovated in urban areas and key towns, aiming to achieve a more reasonable layout, more complete functions, and a faster response.

As the project progresses, the sense of security and happiness of the citizens will further increase. Relevant departments remind that the public should be familiar with the locations of nearby emergency shelters and understand basic safety precautions, jointly building a solid urban safety barrier.
